One of the nicest places we've stayed at.The host and staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming. The rooms are fresh, clean, warm and well decorated. The food is excellent and the setting, with views of the Chilterns is ideal, a great location for exploring the area. Wheelchair and dog-friendly.
Friendly atmosphere, very attentive service. Good menu. Lovely food with a choice of portion sizes to suit your needs. We were a table of 4 on a Saturday evening, there were a couple of larger Christmas parties happening but this didn't slow down our service or quality of food. Highly recommended.
Amazing food and excellent service. Every time I visit the food is exceptional. Martin the landlord goes out of his way to be helpful and kind. Thoroughly recommend as somewhere to eat and stay in peaceful surroundings. Clean and elegant rooms and a cosy pub.
lovely place really nice friendly folk who go out of there way to make you feel welcome beer great wine great I've been here twice first time was brilliant second time I was travelling not well and they even catered for me with that can't express how good this place is...big thanks to Martin for sorting me out and taking good care of our work party everyone enjoyed themselves if I could rate more stars I would the staff are excellent well worth the stay...
