Fantastic weekend away in this absolute gem of a find! The location is perfect, ideal for walkers surrounded by beautiful views. Accommodation is lovely, very comfortable, lots of thoughtful touches and everything you could need. Our hosts Katrina & Charlie were delightful and could not have done more. All in all we've had a brilliant time and will be back again soon :)
We stayed at Katrina and Charlies cottage for 2 nights. It was definitely an unforgettable experience. Everything is amazing. Thanks again for Katrina Charlie and Lucys hospitality. The communication with Katrina was brilliant before we arrived at Wainhill. The yard was secured with private parking. The lodges are cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and beautiful. We had a great time with animals as well. We were so lucky to be there, and we felt like living in the dream. We cannot help talking about the cottage after we back to reality. Secluded location yet walking distance to Chinnor. Lovely accommodation and very roomy and such a nice alternative to a hotel.We woke up to the sound of bees buzzing and our feathered friends and you get a great brekky cooked by Katrina.Thame is a short drive and a lovely market town with Tuesday the market itself.Good range of shops and places to eat and a good base for Oxford and just a short hop from J6 M40. You will not be underwhelmed!
We received a great welcome at The Courtyard at Wainhill. Who would know that such a paradise existed so close to the M40. Katrina had thought of everything, including the most delicious breakfast spread the next morning. In short, beautiful location, good value for money and excellent hosts.
