Since the demise of the cement factory in Chinnor the old railway station, shed and sidings are no longer part of the countries rail network; instead the station and its infrastructure are centrepiece of a heritage rail line which operates between Chinnor and Princess Risborough. Heritage steam and electrical trains, including a variety of historical carriages are maintained by teams of enthusiastic volunteers. The station is easy to find, well sign posted with plenty of parking, dining is available however one is advised to determine opening times in advance thereby avoiding disappointment. When scheduled a trip along the line is highly recommended.

Great Railway. Will be even better when they get their extension to Princes Risborough mainline station.Edit: Extension now open. Makes visiting much easier!

Totally love this Railway. Regularly go yearly for santa Christmas special which is lovely. And kids love. Have also been for cream tea which was lovely. Staff/volunteers are lovely too. Would definitely recommend.

An excellent steam railway. Clean carriages and very well run. The santa special was really magical for the kids. Really good presents for them. Thank you!

Great day out despite the rain. Very well run by volunteers. Round trip Chinnor to Princes Risborough 45 minutes return. Rover ticket means get on and off when you want. Cambrian carriage on Chinnor station offers refreshment and light snacks. If you love steam trains, relaxing trips on heritage rail @cprr is for you.
